Women SCORE Higher Event

On Wednesday, September 20th, eight SBCC women students who are passionate about business and entrepreneurship are invited to attend SCORE Santa Barbara’s Women Score Higher networking event as guests of SCORE in collaboration with the Scheinfeld Center. Enjoy networking activities, dinner, giveaways, and the inspirational wisdom and teachings from keynote speaker, Maureen Kafkis, host of “The Power of Community and Collaboration in Santa Barbara” podcast.
The eight students will meet the Scheinfeld team on campus at 4:30 PM and we will walk together to the event held at the Cabrillo Arts Pavilion. Don’t miss out on a night of networking, community building, and uplifting support!

Join us for a vibrant celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month where the flavors of the Latine culture and entrepreneurship take center stage. Enjoy a dynamic panel discussion with successful Latine culinary entrepreneurs who will share how they successfully used alternative pathways to launch their careers. Then, cast your vote in a deliciously exciting tasting competition in which SBCC culinary student teams face off to showcase their culinary creativity with the rich traditions of Hispanic cuisine. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to savor delicious food, gain inspiration, and celebrate the Hispanic cultural heritage. Hosted by the Scheinfeld Center in collaboration with SBCC’s Culinary Department, Career Center, and Raíces.
