The Falcon Travel Bag is a convenient luggage item with a built-in detachable Falcon Travel Pillow, allowing the traveler to sleep practically anywhere, with their valuables safely stored underneath them. This space-saving accessory combines two travel needs, a bag and a pillow, into one, and is more comfortable and versatile than these individual items alone.

About the Founder
Heather Luikart comes from a family lineage of creators and inventors, and she is excited to finally start taking her own ideas from paper to production.
Before enrolling in SBCC’s Entrepreneurship Program, I found myself at a loss as to what to do career-wise. I knew I wanted to create my own business and work for myself, and I had ideas, but didn’t know quite where to start. Now, I have the knowledge and the tools to turn my ideas into realities.

Heather's Success Story
The Falcon Travel Bag has a detachable pad built into the back panel, allowing the traveler to unzip the panel and sleep directly on their bag. This not only adds extra comfort while resting, but also keeps their valuables safely stashed under their head while sleeping, which is when travelers are most at risk of being pickpocketed. The detachable pad is its own multifunctional tool, which can be easily and quickly transformed into a seat cushion, lumbar support roll, or neck pillow. Since it is washable and water resistant, it can also be unfolded and used as a ground mat for sleeping.
I came up with this concept after many years of sleeping in uncomfortable spaces while traveling, and hearing horror stories of fellow travelers being pickpocketed while sleeping. In my stepsister’s case, the only items that weren’t stolen were those underneath her head.
I find the travel pillows that are available on the market to be too small, awkward, or uncomfortable, and I hear the same complaint from other travelers over and over again. I knew there had to be a more comfortable way to travel light, while also keeping one’s valuables safe, and thus the Falcon was born!
