New Venture Challenge Registration Open at SBCC

Registration is now open for the 7th Annual New Venture Challenge hosted by the Scheinfeld Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Santa Barbara City College.

The event is a business plan and pitch competition for students from SBCC and other local colleges and high schools to promote youth entrepreneurship.

Deadline for submissions is April 20. Finalists will be announced April 25 and the pitch competition will be on April 28. An awards banquet will be held May 5.

The winning students receive various levels of cash awards and other opportunities. Official rules and submission requirements are explained on the Scheinfeld Center’s New Venture Challenge website.
