Entrepreneurship is more than an academic discipline at Santa Barbara City College; It's our passion.  The Scheinfeld Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation trains entrepreneurs using a comprehensive approach combining theoretical curriculum, practical application, mentorship, counseling, internships, networking, and post-start-up support.  The Scheinfeld Center is the hub of entrepreneurial activity at SBCC and in the community.

Justin Connell, an SBCC student and EnterpriseLAUNCH club participant last year, won the Demo Day competition in the club, but also the grand prize of $4,000 in seed capital at the 2nd Annual Scheinfeld Center New Venture Challenge.  In addition, he just recently received a $250,000 investment, valuing his company at $1 Million! more...
