Blue Puzzle Project – Kadie Pulliam

Kadie Pulliam, 3rd place high-school tier winner of the 2015 Scheinfeld Center New Venture Challenge (NVC), continues to focus on her dream of being a voice for people with autism.

Having Autism Spectrum Disorder, Kadie wishes to help those who feel that being autistic is a negative thing, because she and her family believe that, in fact, autism can be a truly beautiful thing. Her business, The Blue Puzzle Project, sells t-shirts to raise awareness about autism and support those who are afraid to be themselves and speak out. 50% of the profit of every sale will be donated toward special-needs education.

Since her recognition at the NVC this year, Kadie has been speaking to the community of Lompoc about The Blue Puzzle Project at the Olde Towne Market every Friday from 5 – 7pm, and she is currently collaborating with teachers from Buena Vista Elementary, who are interested in having her speak to their 6th grade class about the business and what they can do to help anyone with autism.

Thank you for applying your entrepreneurial skills to improve the lives of others in our community, Kadie!
