FootSouls manufactures sneaker insoles specifically designed to fit Converse shoes, without having to remove the existing, glued-in insole. FootSouls are made for each size of Converse, eliminating the need for cutting and trimming.

Jake Zander pursues new ways to add value to people’s lives through entrepreneurship.
Up until Fall 2017, I had never taken a class that really let me explore what I was truly made to do. The Enterprise Launch course and the Scheinfeld Center support helped me tremendously in ways that I didn’t expect. I built a pitch deck that would later help me win the Scheinfeld New Venture Challenge and attract investors because of my win.

Our FootSouls are more than just something to make your Converse more comfortable, but a symbol to “Feel Your Soul” and live life to the fullest. FootSouls help you throughout your day to provide you with more comfort, and at the same time, serving as a reminder to go after your dreams and goals.
Coming up with the whole concept started with my own pain: I loved to wear my Converse, but hated that they were so uncomfortable, and eventually even developed shin splints. So I set out to develop something that the people who wear Converse would love; something that made their Converse more comfortable and something that would inspire them.
Jake took first place in the 2018 Scheinfeld New Venture Challenge. He was a 2019 participant in the Scheinfeld Get REAL Accelerator and winner of the Get REAL Shark Tank, taking home the $10,000 award.
