Argonauts Tactical

Argonauts Tactical Overview

Argonauts Tactical is on a mission to enhance people’s ability to protect and save lives by manufacturing textile tactical gear for law enforcement, paramedic, private security, and responsible armed civilians.

About the Founder

Steven Benavidez is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran on a mission to earn his degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. After he completed his service in the military, he set his sights on the challenge of owning his own business that gives back and supports those who also serve their communities. To this end, he is launching Argonauts Tactical.

Participating in the Scheinfeld New Venture Challenge was nerve-racking, exhilarating, and the best motivation I’ve had to really think deeply about how to make a sound business plan. I now have a bit more experience and a lot more confidence to make my vision a reality!

Steven's Success Story

Success Story

Argonauts Tactical will be one of the exceptionally few textile tactical gear manufacturing companies to tailor their designs specifically for the non-military professions, including medical pouches, magazine pouches, tactical belts, plate carriers, chest rigs, admin pouches, and more. This provides Argonauts Tactical with the creative freedom to innovate.

The vision of Argonauts is to be the “go-to” for armed professionals and the armed American citizens in high-risk situations who want their gear to upgrade and enhance their abilities to accomplish their own missions. Steven has created two of his first three prototypes and is working through market validation and refinement of his designs.

Steven won the Military Veteran Startup Award at the 2021 Scheinfeld New Venture Challenge. He’s also a participant in the 2021 Scheinfeld Get REAL Accelerator to fast-forward his venture.
